The Heil PRO -SET boomset has become the standard of leading contest and DX operators world-wide. Now, amateur radio's most popular boomset is available with the Heil 'QUIET PHONE' tm active noise canceling technology.
Two sensitive out of phase microphones are implanted deep inside each earphone speaker. The microphones feed a differential amplifier located in the hand control/battery box. When switched to the 'On' position the outside ambient noise is reduced by 15 dB with the - 3dB point set at 400 Hz. In addition to the active noise cancellation, the Heil PSQP is the only boomset ever designed with the noise cancellation feature AND the award winning Heil speaker phase reversal technology which allows the user to 'move' the signal heard just by reversing the speaker phase switch, thus creating a spatial widening sound field that makes it much easier to 'See' a signal in a pile up. A very handy Push To Talk soft touch switch is located on the hand control which will connect to the Heil AD-1 adapter to control your transmitter.
The PSQP -'iC' contains the high performance Heil electret for ICOM inputs. 
The PSQP is delivered in a soft leatherette carrying bag and contains a foam windscreen for the microphone as well as two washable cotton ear pad covers that help make the vinyl ear pads much smoother and cooler to wear.
